PACKAGING INNOVATIONs rescheduled TO 17 & 18 NOVEMBER 2021

Due to the consequences of the recent Covid-19 measures Packaging Innovations is postponed to November 2021. We have long maintained the confidence, supported by various safety authorities and the government, to continue with the organization of Packaging Innovations 2020. Our primary task is to listen to the community and in close consultation with our exhibitors and all other parties involved we have decided to reschedule Packaging Innovations to November 17 & 18, 2021.

Packaging Innovations is a national event with an international flavour that presents a surprising collection of insights and ideas for the primary packaging industry. From young to old, everyone is tempted by packaging. In 2020, 40% of the world’s population consists of Gen Zers, the group of young people that follows the millennials. 70% of Gen Zers are prepared to spend more on brands with which they wish to be associated. At the same time, other generations are more and more environmentally conscious, as a result of which certain products are labelled ‘sustainable’. Nevertheless, on average 20% of packaging is non-recyclable. What does this mean for the future? How do you make sure your packaging stands out both online and on the shop shelves? Packaging Innovations 2018 was held right next to Empack. Thanks to a crossover of visitors, Packaging Innovations 2018 was able to host a record number of brand owners, marketers, designers, and packaging managers and buyers. Extensive analysis in collaboration with exhibitors and visitors has shown that the event’s exclusive nature should be cherished, however. It is therefore time to return home.
